Specialists in plastering and dry lining, with many other areas covered with quality and precision, Almic Contracts Ltd were formed in 2007 in Liverpool. We now have an established reputation for the high standards of our work and the reliability that has seen a building up of regular, repeat and high profile business. Alan Brown
Has worked within the construction industry from an early age, starting out as a general labourer at the age of15. Leaving school at 18 with leaving certificate qualifications Alan worked in Dublin for large construction firm G and T Crompton. Alan then moved to America and worked in Boston with a commercial roofing contractor that specialised on many of the cities iconic skyscrapers. On returning to Ireland Alan started third level education and achieved a higher national degree in business and finance. He also has experience in the sales industry, taking two years away from the construction industry to work for one of the world’s largest courier company’s, and achieved many top sales awards within the company. A successful sales company that Alan started was later sold to a Dublin based sales and marketing company.
Michael
Has worked within the Construction Industry for more than 30 years. He qualified as a time served plasterer in 1979 and has worked for many of the major companies throughout the UK and Ireland. Michael has specialised in a varied range of plastering including many of the external renders such as Sto,K-Rend, Weber and marble dash coatings.
With a speciality in Armour coat squash court systems, Michael has travelled the world plastering Squash courts. He has completed 16 courts in Harvard University in Boston and has worked in Italy, Denmark, America, Bermuda, and France to name but a few. Michael’s knowledge of plastering is borne out by the fact that he now holds a gold card accreditation from the Construction Skills Register (C.S.R.), proving the invaluable experience on offer through Almic Contracts Ltd.
Michael has now amalgamated with Alan Brown Construction and has formed Almic Contracts Ltd.
This company now has more experience to call on and as such welcomes new challenges in the future to help cement the reputations both have achieved and to build progressively in the future.
